Chelsea legend Frank Lampard has urged rising star Callum Hudson-Odoi to turn down Bayern Munich's advances and continue his career at Stamford Bridge.

Maurizio Sarri has accused Bayern Munich of disrespecting Chelsea by publicly expressing their interest in signing winger Callum Hudson-Odoi.

Speaking ahead of Saturday's match against Newcastle, Sarri said: 'I think it is not professional.

Former Premier League champions, Chelsea have been told that they will have to pay £32million for striker, Gonzalo Higuain, at the end of his loan.

He said: "I spoke with the club and the club knows very well my opinion". I think that he can do better.

"In my opinion we need two players, but it's up to the club".

Hudson-Odoi has only made one substitute appearance in the Premier League this season but has starred in cup competitions for the Blues.

Sarri refused to confirm that the two players he was referring to were a midfielder to replace Cesc Fabregas as well as a new striker.

Asked about Morata, who has been linked with a number of clubs, Sarri said: "Of course if Morata goes to another club we need a replacement".

"At the moment Morata is here, so I think he has to think only to play".

Maurizio Sarri has said he did not watch a single World Cup match this summer because he does not believe there is anything to learn from worldwide football.

The coach's options on the wing have improved with the return to fitness of Pedro and Willian, who on Thursday was the subject of reports that Barcelona had submitted an offer worth £50m to sign him, with Malcom heading the other way.

"He is really very important for us and it is impossible to lose him in January".
