Juventus Reject Arsenal's Offer of Swap Deal Involving Midfielder Aaron Ramsey

Juventus have been heavily linked with a move for Ramsey, but there have also been reports that they are keen to sign Ramsey permanently this winter.

Aaron Ramsey's contract talks were suspended a couple months ago, and the midfielder is believed to be leaving the club on a free at the end of campaign.

In terms of incomings, a defensively frail Arsenal side had been linked with a move for out of favour Chelsea centre-back Gary Cahill, but Emery claims he has not discussed the centre-back, while Fulham are now leading the pack to snap up the Englishman on loan.

Juve are more than happy to wait until the end of the season and now it seems that the Gunners have shifted to plan B.

He won the club's Player of the Season award in 2013/14 and 2017/18 but he and the club have been very far apart in contract negotiations and after his tenth and final season with the Gunners.

Arsenal could certainly do with some defensive reinforcements, having looked like a shambles at the back at times this season. "We will only sign players who give us quality". Because if he is deemed good enough for Juventus, Bayern Munich and Liverpool, then he is surely a player that Arsenal can't afford to lose.
