He was only 13/32 from the field but was 10/23 on threes, making a 3-pointer to tie the game and send it to OT, and another to win the game in overtime. Kevin Durant tried saving a ball from going out of bounds on the Warriors' second-to-last possession, but was closer to the front row than the court when he threw the ball back into play.

The Warriors led 73-53 early in the third quarter, but ultimately lost 135-134 in overtime at Oracle Arena to a Rockets team once again boosted by a lights-out display from James Harden.

Stephen Curry put the Warriors ahead with 23.1 seconds remaining in OT on the way to 35 points. Including his 50-point game against the Lakers on 13 December Harden has scored at least 30 in 11 straight.

Harden had one last chance left, and went for it all. "I don't know where it ranks but I'm just happy to come away with the win", Harden said.

"It's tough, man. It's tough to stop you from just shooting 3s, because there's just so much space out there", said Durant. Harden had a triple-double in the game, adding 10 rebounds and 15 assists.

The Warriors have now lost three straight games at home but Klay Thompson said he was not anxious about his team's form.

"For the most part, I feel like we made him work".
