Fortnite Season 7 Adds Snowy Map Terrain, Planes, and Weapon Skins

Today sees the launch of Season 7 in Fortnite (downtime for the update is taking place at the time of writing) and, as usual, there are lots of changes and additions taking place to keep things fresh. Now, a popular weapon from the mobile title has a made a return in the spotlight thanks to the appearance of the Infinity Blade sword in Season 7 of Fortnite.

These new designs will be sourced from players who are using Fortnite Creative Mode, which means it will be available on all platforms. Aside from those, players can also shimmy around the map with ziplines, which will certainly make the game even more dynamic. But, the developer added it will still have new updates coming out during that break period with new items and challenges. Battle Pass owners will have early access to their own Creative island for one week, then all players will receive islands on December 13, 2018. It has a distinct Minecraft vibe, but with Fortnite's robust competitive rulesets to play with, and stands out as a unique feature among the big battle royale games.
