The incident happened at The 9 in the early morning hours of February 10.

Newly released surveillance footage shows Kareem Hunt, star running back for the Kansas City Chiefs, shoving and kicking a woman during an altercation in an OH hotel back in February.

A report from ESPN said that following the release of the video, Hunt was excused from practice at the facility pending further action. The only thing that both stories corroborated was that the woman was not allowed in Hunt's room and that was when the fight broke out. As the argument escalates, Hunt shoves the woman before being held back by his friends, before she hits him in the face. Then, he shoves her. The incident occurred at 3:22 in the morning, on February 18, 2018.

According to that Cleveland newspaper report, a friend who was with Hunt said the two women stayed out in the hallway for about 30 minutes.

TMZ says the woman told officers the incident started when Hunt kicked her out of his room because he wouldn't "hook up" with one of his friends.

Albright tweeted that both the Chiefs and the league were aware of the existence of the video that TMZ ultimately made public. "I'm sure he learned some lessons this off-season and hopefully won't be in those kind of situations in the future".

Despite that, the National Football League elected to not suspend Hunt for the attack.

Back in 2003 - the same year LJ was a 1st-round pick in the NFL Draft - Johnson was arrested for waving a gun at his then-girlfriend. At some point in the night, everyone headed back to Hunt's place at The Metropolitan at the 9, where the incident took place.
