Kim Porter, Mother of 3 of Diddy's Kids, Dead at 47

Kim Porter, the model and actress who dated Diddy for 13 years, was found dead Thursday at her L.A. area home.

TMZ was the first to share the tragic news that the paramedics were called at the model's L.A. home around noon today only to find her lifeless body.

A source close to Porter told TMZ she recently developed flu-like symptoms and "possibly" pneumonia for "several weeks". Her cause of death has not been made public.

Porter and Diddy had three children together. They broke up in 1994 and again in 2007.

Diddy's representative Cindi Berger told TMZ: "Sadly, I can confirm the passing of Kim Porter".

Kimberly Porter was born in Columbus, Georgia and moved to Atlanta to peruse modeling after high school.

She also has a son, Quincy, from her previous marriage to singer/producer Al B. Sure; she also helped to raise Diddy's daughter Chance, whom he welcomed five months before the birth of their twins.

As an actress, she worked on television shows Law & Order and Wicked Wicked Games, and also had roles in the films The Brothers and Mama, I Want to Sing.
