Ariana Grande Trips, Tears Up In Delightful 'Thank U, Next' Performance

Ariana Grande kept it very real during her Wednesday performance on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show"!

The 25-year-old singer gave the debut performance of her new song "thank u, next" and she also performed her hit song "Breathin'" on television for the first time.

Grande chose to channel the classic musical number from "The First Wives Club", wearing bridal white alongside her two backup singers to resemble the film's stars Bette Midler, Goldie Hawn and Dianne Keaton.

As for the performance, it was definitely live as she almost took a faceplant trying to step down from a chair on the wedding reception-inspired set.

The single is Grande processing through past relationships, including her recently-ended engagement to "SNL" star Pete Davidson, thanking them for what they taught her and preparing her for whatever's next.

"Oh, my god!" Grande shouted as she recovered from the fall, then nearly seamlessly continued performing. This September, her ex-boyfriend Mac Miller, died of an accidental overdose caused by mixing drugs and alcohol.

"One day I'll walk down the aisle / Holding hands with my mama / I'll be thanking my dad / "Cause she grew from the drama", she sang".

The tracks included Cadillac and Champagne, thought to be versions of Ariana's previously unreleased songs. The trio eventually made their way through the audience before exiting from the back. Oh my bad, I thought we were supposed to exit at the top.

What we love most about this video is that Ariana could have totally redone the whole thing, but chose not to.
