Fans blast Piers Morgan for mocking Daniel Craig's parenting

"Any man who wastes time quantifying masculinity is terrified on the inside", Evans responded on Twitter.

The presenter had previously sparked a heated debate about fathers who use the sling-like carriers after Daniel Craig was pictured wearing one.

But not British TV broadcaster Piers Morgan, who took to Twitter to blast the actor for wimping out and using what Morgan describes as a "papoose".

"I honestly cannot wrap my head around how a grown man in 2018 can believe that babywearing is an emasculating activity", says "Daddy Doin' Work" author and TODAY Parenting Team contributor Doyin Richards.

Aside from being a professional Twitter troll, Morgan also hosts the morning chat show Good Morning Britain.

The greatest comfort to come from this utterly asinine turn of events is how many men came forward to eschew Morgan's archaic and, honestly, illogical view of fatherhood.

Morgan responded to numerous comments, defending his point of view, saying "James Bond would never use a papoose to carry his babies". "About time more in the media celebrated this, I mean aren't you right-wing oddballs always bleating on about lack of family values?"

Still others wrote that a father taking care of his child, even wearing a papoose, is attractive.

Hill said: "That's for the guys that wear papooses, alright!"

Daniel Craig and his wife Rachel Weisz's newborn baby daughter arrived in September.

Trump did not take the bait.

But Morgan was still at it, turning the backlash he had spawned into Good Morning Britain content.

Morgan was having none of it of course, soon declaring the need for a new James Bond.
