Leaked Images, Video Show Google Pixel 3 XL with USB-C Earbuds

The images show the Pixel 3 XL switched on and in working condition, lending weight to its legitimacy.

A huge Pixel 3 XL leak hit the Web today, thanks to the Telegram channel Канал Лучкова. The images reveal that the Pixel 3 XL will continue to sport a single rear camera setup, a rear fingerprint sensor, a display notch in the front, and slight bezel at the bottom of the device. Leaked photos of the handset show an XL sized notch at the top which is nearly twice as deep as the iPhone X's notch.

Everything lines up with what we've previously heard about the Pixel 3 XL.

Google isn't changing much about the design on the back of the phone. The chunky notch also makes the status bar very thick. The display - no size listed - has a resolution of 1440×2960 (shakes fist at notch) with a pixel density of 494pixels per inch. Coincidentally or not, Google released Android 9 Pie just a few days ago and managed to made headlines at a time when everyone was talking about Samsung's Galaxy Note 9. In the picture, you can see Android 9 Pie's gesture navigation is turned on, which Google recently told Android Central would be the default for Pixels going forward.

Last month, we got to see a leaked version of the Pixel 3 XL in all white. There seems to be a plastic box in the middle of the headphone cord, which might be for an in-line remote. Additional accessories include a USB-C to 3.5mm adapter (the included headphones are USB-C), a USB-C to USB-C cable and a USB-C to USB-A adapter, plus the Power Delivery charger, of course. It isn't clear if Google will release this in Malaysia so you'll probably need to turn to grey importers if you're interested.
