Klopp is looking to assemble a team capable of being one of the main challengers for the Premier League title next season.

As it stands, the gaffer has only two fit central defenders with both Joel Matip and Ragnar Klavan sidelined with hip and hamstring problems respectively.

In the past year we've seen the world record transfer fee more than doubled, Cristiano Ronaldo leave Real Madrid and Crystal Palace sign literal Max Meyer. Klavan shouldn't be too serious, but if Tuesday is too early I don't know yet.

"Maybe we will do some magic things with the formation on Tuesday. I am very good here", he told http://www.ol.fr.

Liverpool were reportedly very close to snapping up Fekir until the club failed to agree terms with Lyon.

Jurgen Klopp did not rule out making another move in the transfer market when asked by reporters in the wake of their 5-0 win against Napoli in Dublin on Saturday evening but most of the business at Anfield is expected to be through the exit.

Brazil global Alisson arrived from Roma in a world record £67million deal for a goalkeeper, while Naby Keita, Fabinho and Xherdan Shaqiri have also joined for a combined £120m.

Croatia worldwide Dejan Lovren will rejoin the squad on Monday after an extended break following the World Cup but is a doubt for the next two games.

"Fabinho, Keita, Alisson are all good players and they give Liverpool strength in depth and competition for places, which does increase performance, but would any of those players get in City's team?"

Regardless of whether further fresh faces arrive, Klopp believes that he is already working with his strongest squad since taking the Liverpool reins back in October 2015.

Lyon travel to London to take on Chelsea in an International Champions Cup game, which will also serve as the Blues' final pre-season game this summer.
