Demi Lovato set to go into rehab

Demi Lovato has agreed to enter rehab at her family's request following her recent overdose.

"Demi is getting better day-by-day with the help of her family, friends and Wilmer", a source told ET at the time. Lovato is well known for her struggle with substance abuse for years, and recently she gave fans a sneak peek into her life when she talked about her struggles with addiction in the documentary- "Simply Complicated". The star in unconsciousness was discovered by her assistant and, frightened that she was dead, began to cry ("She's dead!"). Amid initial reports that she'd allegedly overdosed on heroin, conflicting stories surfaced claiming she'd used methamphetamine, leading to continued speculation that she'd taken multiple drugs.

Demi experienced complications after her apparent overdose and remained in the hospital with extreme nausea and fever. She refused to call doctors drug took.

Though Lovato previously got treatment in IL, it's unclear where she'll be treated this time around. It is the reaction and actions of the bodyguard demi, who quickly oriented in a situation and saved her life. "Based on what we're told it appears the bodyguard propped Demi up and tried clearing her airway which allowed her to breathe", TMZ reported. We have no idea how she will receive the message that she desperately needs rehab.

Lovato celebrated six years of sobriety in March before revealing in June that she'd relapsed. The bodyguard, assistant and other members of her team were aware she was no longer sober.
