I want to keep Hazard, says Sarri

Gianfranco Zola will join Chelsea as assistant first-team coach, the Premier League club have announced.

As a player, Zola helped the club win two FA Cups, one Uefa Cup Winners' Cup, one Uefa Super Cup and one League Cup between 1996-2003. I'm not that interested in it.

Real Madrid are understood to be in talks with Chelsea over a possible £35m deal for Courtois and have also targeted Hazard after selling Cristiano Ronaldo to Juventus.

"I spoke with the club and ideally I think that a pinch of quality is lacking in our central midfield for a certain type of play".

What this tells us is that both Hazard and Courtois will become Real Madrid players come the close of the transfer window, and while it is possible that the Spanish giants will not sign both of them, it is basically a cast-iron certainty that at least one of the pair will be joining the European Champions. This meant that the West London club is now ineligible to play in the Champions League next term and will face a hard summer in trying to keep hold of their star players.

New Blues head coach Sarri faces a battle to keep hold of his star players after replacing Antonio Conte at Stamford Bridge.

There have been some concerns about how prepared the squad would be for the new season, Sarri said it is important that they begin to work on implementing his style of football.

"Certainly after this World Cup".

"All good things Antonio Conte did should be left and must not be changed".

Former Napoli boss Sarri, who has never won silverware, insisted the only target set by Chelsea was to be competitive this season. "They must not be changed".

"I am an extremely open person, I do not have these kind of problems, I hope I will show this when I am working here and living here".

Arsenal will need the full amount they paid for him if Chelsea want to sign him because he is their first choice goalkeeper at the moment even though they have a new manager.

'For me it is an incredible thing, ' Zola told Chelsea's official website. "I think this is an extremely private relationship and I would also hope this relationship is respected".
