What will QB Kirk Cousins' fully guaranteed deal mean for Russell Wilson?

Kirk Cousins was probably just aiming for the best contract and landing spot possible this March.

The Vikings check all the boxes Cousins ticked off publicly: guarantees, stability and the ability to win. "That's all we can say right now".

Sources told NFL Network and ESPN Tuesday that Cousins will sign a three-year, fully-guaranteed contract with the NFC North franchise.

The 29-year-old, who played his collegiate football at Michigan State, was originally selected by the Redskins in the fourth round of the 2012 NFL Draft.

According to the Broncos, Keenum had the best season of his career in 2017 where he completed 67.6 percent of his passes, threw 3,547 yards and 22 touchdowns.

The Eagles, who signed Bradford to a contract extension after 2015, were reportedly interested in bringing Cousins to Philadelphia if the Redskins had decided not to franchise tag him. Cousins numbers are nearly the same as Case Keenum's numbers last year, with the only difference being that Cousins has averaged that over three years and Keenum was a breakout in 2017.

The Vikings drafted Bridgewater with the 32nd overall pick in the 2014 draft.

Last season, Minnesota crashed out against the eventual Super Bowl champion Eagles in the NFC Championship game, but the addition of Cousins will make the Vikings an even more risky team.

Should Cousins sign with the Vikings, he will join a Super Bowl contender coming off a superb season and boasting a number of unsafe weapons on offense.

Cousins has spent his entire career prior to free agency with the Washington Redskins, starting at quarterback the previous three seasons.

Multiple reports said the Vikings have offered Cousins a three-year, $84 million deal, which would make him the highest-paid quarterback in the league.

With brief flashes from young quarterbacks before injuries or over-exposure and similar things from veteran retreads, the Vikings have not had suitable stability under center the last 25-plus years at minimum.

Teddy Bridgewater is the New York Jets next plan after their attempts to lure Cousins for more than the Vikings fell through, according to ESPN. Adam Thielen and Stefon Diggs return for another season in which they'll vie to be the NFL's top receiving duo. In Cousins, they might have gotten the Drew Brees of 13 years ago.
