Kendrick Lamar announces stacked White River Amphitheatre show

Kendrick Lamar can do no wrong.

Grammy Award-winning rapper Kendrick Lamar is coming to metro Detroit this summer with a show at DTE Energy Music Theatre.

As he preps for a possible Grammy Awards coup next weekend, Lamar announced Monday a sweeping North American tour that comes to the White River Amphitheatre on May 5.

TDE is set to take over 2018, as the label announces dates for "The Championship Tour", featuring the entire roster!

Tickets will cost $17-$117 and go on sale noon Friday, Jan. 26, at all Ticketmaster outlets, including Ticketmaster.com, and by calling 800-745-3000.

Top Dawg Entertainment has grown into a powerhouse incubator for hip hop's best and brightest acts.

Other supporting acts include ScHoolboy Q, Jay Rock, Ab-Soul, SiR, and Lance Skiiiwalker.

Lamar and SZA also recently released a single for the forthcoming Marvel film, "Black Panther", titled "All the Stars".
