'The World Ends With You' Will Be Launching On The Nintendo Switch

After some hype over the last few days, Nintendo dropped a Nintendo Direct Mini today and it came with a plethora of announcements. Also, the Nintendo Switch sold 10 million units in only 9 months exceeding Nintendo's expectations by millions of units. Dubbed "Final Remix", the description reads, "The highly stylized and critically acclaimed Nintendo DS game, The World Ends with You, is coming to Nintendo Switch with HD graphics, Joy-Con support, and a new epilogue!" All the coins you earn during the demo will be transferred to the full game when the game gets released on 3DS. Wave 1 will be on January 31 and will bring the new battle character Aegislash along with the support set Mega Rayquaza and Mimikyu.

PayDay 2 will arrive on Switch next month with an added local multiplayer mode for CRIME.NET and a new character. The Battle Pack is available for purchase now on the Nintendo eShop for $14.99. Another flagship character will land on Switch later this year, with Kirby Star Allies due to launch on March 16th. Artist and Spider change-up Kirby's available move set, along with that there will be a way to mix and match abilities when playing with friends in Kirby's co-op mode.

Zoink Studio's incredibly gorgeous indie adventure title Fe, finally has a release date. Hyrule Warriors Deluxe Edition will release in Spring 2018. The DLC will unlock different content as time goes by. Expect to make a racket in "Spring 2018". It'll be joined later this year by ports of Dark Souls and Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana.

FromSoft's long-running, extremely punishing action RPG is coming to Nintendo Switch on May 25. Mario + Rabbids fans will be getting new DLC where they will have the option to play as Donkey Kong, and Mario Odyssey players can look forward a free update with some new challenges thanks to "Luigi's Balloon World". Other players will then have to race to find these hidden balloons. The update is coming in February.

The fan service focused brawler, SNK Heroines Tag Team Frenzy from NIS will be an all-female character game. This spin-off fighting game includes only the women of the King of Fighters series and features up to two-on-two battles. It'll be coming to the Switch in the summer.

Surprise hit Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle is also getting new DLC that adds Donkey Kong to the game, as well as new levels and a new story. The DLC pack will release in Spring. Payday 2 will be launching on the 27th of February. The press release also revealed that more than 60 percent of Nintendo Switch owners in the USA have Super Mario Odyssey installed while over 55 percent own The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Funky can use his surfboard to hover in mid-air and stomp on spikes.
