Suspects wanted in armed robbery case near East Carolina University


At 10:35 a.m., the same man approached the counter at Harper Food Center in the 13900 block of Harper Avenue.

Police say the man who robbed a Port Huron hotel may have robbed businesses in three metro Detroit counties. He received an undisclosed amount of money during this robbery. He was described as a thin black male wearing white sneakers, khaki cargo-style trousers, a black hooded sweatshirt and a skeleton-style mask.

The Greenville Police Department was dispatched to 611 E. 11th Street at 3:09 p.m. on Thursday for a report of an armed robbery.

The suspect got away with about $100, four packs of cigarettes and a bag of skittles, police said. The area is behind the parking lot for the East Carolina Police Department. The suspects then fled and the victim, who was not injured, called police.

Police describe the gunmen as a thin black man and a heavy set Hispanic man, both wearing muddy construction boots, dark blue trousers, gray hooded sweatshirts and masks.
