Tiger Zinda Hai crosses 200 crore mark

The much-awaited movie which is the sequel to "Ek Tha Tiger" is creating new records with every passing day.

Tiger Zinda Hai, which revolves around a plot that Indian RAW agent Avinash "Tiger" Singh Rathore and Pakistani spy Zoya reunite after eight years to rescue captured nurses by the ISIL, released on December 22. The movie within seven days has smashed the records of many Bollywood movies. In fact, it is only a few crores behind Baahubali 2, which holds the highest all-time single day collection ever, with a single day collection of Rs Rs 46 plus crore. Internationally as well, the film had earned Rs 54.79 crore in the first weekend. The sizzling chemistry of Salman and Katrina is simply like cherry on the cake. With this, Tiger Zinda Hai now joins the second part of the epic Baahubali saga that released earlier this year to become the fastest film to cross the Rs. 200 cr mark. The Ali Abbas Zafar directorial has effortlessly moved past the Rs 200 crore milestone thereby earning the whopping amount within a week of its release. That has made a total collection of the film to 205.62 crores nett in India.
