Nokia's parent company HMD Global Oy is expected to unveil Nokia 6 (2018) in January in China, followed by a release for other markets in the later part of 2018.

The Nokia 6 recently went through TENAA, a necessary part of any smartphone launch with China, with the model number TA-1054 - but it apparently wasn't alone.

When it comes to the expected specifications, there are speculations that the Nokia 6 (2018) might feature a 5.5-inch display with 18:9 aspect ratio. So that means, it will have 13-megapixel rear-facing camera. The Nokia 6 (2018) is also expected to have specifications like a Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 SoC, 4GB of RAM, 32GB internal storage, and a probable dual-camera setup on the back with Bothie camera features. It may also retain back the Bothie feature as well. The Nokia 9 appears to have passed through the organization's certification process as well, with a number of TA-1042.

The highlight of the Nokia 6 2018 will be the integration of reduced bezels and the navigation buttons will be integrated into the screen instead of physical touch buttons. It does looks like a NOKIA 5, 6 and 7 mashed up together. With that said, I really hope this new NOKIA 6 to debut with a brand new camera app because the camera hardware on these NOKIA phones are kind of wasted. The launch event might happen on January 19, 2018.

Earlier there was a confusion regarding the new leaks in China that TA-1054 is not about Nokia 9, It is for Nokia 6 2018.

TENAA has now updated the listing along with images of the much-awaited mid-range smartphone.

Given the fact that the Nokia 6 (2018) already surfaced on TENAA it's only a matter of weeks before it becomes official. The device is powered by 1.4GHz octa-core Snapdragon 430 processor. Nokia 7 is one of my favourite smartphones in terms of design. The main camera is expected to feature 12 MP shooter with 4K video recording capability and an 8 MP selfie shooter with 1080p video recording capability.
