PSX reveals MediEvil remaster, WipEout VR, and The Last Guardian VR


It will run at 4K resolution on the PlayStation 4 Pro, just in time for its 20th anniversary. The PlayStation Anthology sheds light on the birth of the PlayStation and Sony, the company's triumph, as well as its shortcomings, strategies, technological advancements and, of course, its fantastical games library.

The MediEvil PlayStation 4 remaster was announced with a short teaser trailer and very little in the way of details.

Soul Calibur VI, which was also unveiled at The Game Awards 2017, launched a new trailer that gives players a glimpse of the gameplay from the highly anticipated sixth installment of the fighting franchise.

In terms of new PS4 games coming out in 2018, we saw the reveal of Firewall Zero Hour, a new PSVR shooter, and confirmation of a MediEvil Remaster.

There have been plenty of announcements during this weekend's PlayStation Experience. These include The Last of Us Part II, Detroit: Become Human, Days Gone, God of War, and Spider-Man.

A new trailer was also shown for Soul Calibur 6.

The game was released exclusively for the original PlayStation in 1998, spawning a sequel in 2000 and a new version for PSP called Medievil Resurrection. Additionally, Sony confirmed you don't need to own The Last Guardian to download the VR experience.

Disrupted sleeping pattern aside there was still some interesting news at PSX, but it's perhaps most notable for being the last major video game event of the year.
