In the immediate aftermath of Davis' injury the Jazz went on a 10-0 run, with New Orleans going more than four minutes without a point before a Darius Miller three ended the scoring drought. He was injured as he battled for a rebound with Utah's Derrick Favors underneath the basket with 11:35 left in the game.

It's the second game Davis has been forced to leave early this season due to injury, joining an October 24 loss to the Portland Trail Blazers. He was taken to the locker room on a wheelchair, according to several sources.

As it turns out, the injury will hold him out for longer than just part of Friday's game.
