Sammi "Sweetheart" Giancola, who was also part of the original cast, does not seem to be making an appearance on the revival.

Details about the recent Jersey Shore cast's reunion are finally coming to light. Ortiz-Magro was more recently seen on the reality show "Famously Single", while Guadagnino went on to have two series of his own, "The Show With Vinny" on MTV and "Vinny & Ma East America" on the Cooking Channel.

The series started to air on MTV in 2009 and ended in 2012. At its peak in 2011, the unscripted program about a gang of salty-talking, sun-worshiping party lovers lured an average of 9 million viewers an episode, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Cabs are here! The Jersey Shore cast is officially reuniting on MTV.

During Monday's premiere of Floribama Shore, the second installment of MTV's Shore franchise, the network announced the original series, Jersey Shore, will be back in 2018.

Meanwhile, "Floribama Shore" is an eight-episode reality series that will tell the story of eight young adults who get to spend their summer on the Gulf Coast, Panama City Beach.
