"Have a safe and happy Thanksgiving!", the weather service's Mount Holly office said in a Facebook post. Fortunately, the weather is cooperating with regards to calm conditions. We remain breezy Sunday as well, as winds reach 10-20 miles per hour at times. That will continue to be the case as we go through the next week.
SUNDAY: Partly cloudy skies and chilly temperatures end up the weekend, with a high temperature of 47 degrees. As temperatures drop, don't be surprised to see a few snowflakes mixed in as well. Under a mostly sunny sky, temperatures Friday will climb into the upper 60s to low 70s. Overnight lows fell back into the 20s for many of us. Right now models are not very optimistic in providing us much rain. Highs today will reach around 40°, a far cry from Tuesday's high of 54°! Instead, look for a mix of sun and clouds as highs still warm into the low 60s.

Saturday we will see a front moving through.
Weekend: Continued pleasant weather. A cold front swept through the region overnight and has ushered in Canadian polar air which is chilly and dry.
