Notably, the iPhone SE that is selling right now in India is also being assembled at this facility.

For those who suffer from short-arm-deep-pockets syndrome, Apple is releasing a new iPhone SE 2.

The Cupertino giant is tight-lipped on the new iPhone SE which could be named iPhone SE 2, iPhone SEs, iPhone SEC or even some other names but it has been in news since July this year. The iPhone SE in comparison has the Apple A9 processor.

It's not yet clear if Apple will tweak the design, which cleaves to the same look of the raging iPhone 5s. After the release of the new models the iPhone SE decreased.

According to the report in Economic Daily News the iPhone SE 2 will be manufactured by Wistron, which also will be the exclusive OEM. Previous reports surrounding the smartphone suggested that the device could come with a fairly modest update, featuring a faster chip.

According to reports from Economic Daily News, an updated version of the iPhone SE will be assembled in India, where some of the current SE stock is now made. The company released the first version of the 4-inch budget handset in 2016 as a way to cater to customers that prefer a smaller device or those living in countries like India, and evidently Apple has decided that it's time to make some changes under the hood. Finally, coming to the camera capability, the iPhone is likely to use a 12 MP camera from the iPhone 7 with OIS and 4K video recording capability.

If these details turn out to be authentic, then the 2018 lineup of Apple iPhones will be the broadest one so far in ten years as there will be three models similar to the iPhone X and an affordable iPhone SE successor as well.
