Restaurants offer up Veterans Day freebies

This Saturday, Texas Roadhouse invites veterans and active duty members of the United States Military to enjoy a free lunch.

Buffalo Wild Wings: Complimentary order of wings and a side of fries to veterans and active-duty military.

Red Lobster: Free appetizer or dessert for veterans, active-duty military and reservists with a valid military ID, Nov. 11.

Chuck E. Cheese: They will be offering one free personal pizza to all active and retired military members.

- Famous Dave's: Free two meat combo.

Saturday, Nov. 11 is Veterans Day, a time for Americans to thanks those who have served their country in the armed forces.

Little Caesars - Veterans and military personnel can receive a free $5 Hot-N-Ready lunch combo on Veterans Day.

Year-round, Cabela's offers a 5 percent discount to veterans and active military personnel.

CPK, otherwise known as California Pizza Kitchen, will be honoring vets by offering a free item from their special Veteran's Day menu.

Ruby Tuesday This Veterans Day, all former and active duty service members of the military can enjoy a free appetizer.

Friendly's is treating veterans and active military members with a valid military ID or honorable discharge card to a free dine-in breakfast, lunch or dinner from select menus on Saturday.

Shoney's is offering a free all you can eat breakfast, from 6 a.m.to 11 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 11. At most of the locations below, veterans will need to show military identification, whether active, reserve, or retired.

Outback Steakhouse - Veterans can receive a free Bloomin' Onion and beverage on November 11 with valid military ID. They will also get a $5 coupon for a return visit.

Veteran's Day is Saturday and businesses all over east Idaho are using the occasion to offer freebies and deals for our vets.

Toys "R" Us offers 15 percent off in-store purchases November 4-11. Patients will be seen from 8 a.m.to 4 p.m.

BJ's Restaurant: Active duty and veterans can receive any entree worth up to $12.95 with a military ID on November 10 and 11.

Applebees Neighborhood Grill: Service members will receive a special menu dish on Saturday. Proof of military service usually includes bringing your military ID, U.S. Uniform Services Retired ID Card, Current Leave and Earnings Statement, or Veterans Organization Card.

"Texas Roadhouse appreciates the sacrifices made by these fearless men and women and each year recognizes their commitment to protecting our nation by hosting a free lunch in their honor", according to the release.

Free lunch item up to $12 on Saturday from 11 a.m.to 2 p.m. Offer is good throughout the day with military ID.

Under Armour offers an 10 percent off online discount for active and non-active military members, plus 10 percent for first responders including police, fire and EMT customers. To get their free entrée, veterans and active military members must present their military ID at checkout.
