The man, whose face was not shown but who spoke with an American accent, said he had met Spacey at a summer theater and that the actor had eventually invited him to spend a weekend with him at his home in NY.
"MRC and Netflix have made a decision to suspend production on "House of Cards" season six, until further notice, to give us time to review the current situation and to address any concerns of our cast and crew", the statement read.
Netflix and Media Rights Capital, the studio that makes and owns the series, must decide whether to proceed given the allegations against Spacey, an Oscar-winning actor who helped put Netflix on the map as a home of high-end TV. He also claims Spacey would "squeez (e) whoever caught his attention" while at the bar in the theatre. Billy Eichner also blasted the move: "Kevin Spacey has just invented something that has never existed before: a bad time to come out".
'He was telling me to come with him, to leave the bar.
Mexican actor Roberto Cavazos wrote on his Facebook page that he encountered Spacey at the bar of London's Old Vic Theatre, where Spacey was artistic director from 2004-15, and the actor tried to fondle him against his will.
Now, the Old Vic - where Kevin was Artistic Director for 11 years - has released a statement on the latter.
Spacey has made headlines after actor Antony Rapp accused him of making a pass at him when he was 14-years-old.
The cascading fallout for Spacey includes a halt to production on his Netflix series "House of Cards" and the loss of an award he was to be given later this month by the International Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.More news: Gurriel banned five games in 2018 for racist gesture

Now, the streaming giant has made the decision to stop production on the final instalment of the show entirely following allegations of sexual misconduct against star Kevin Spacey. "I feel for Mr. Rapp and I support his courage".
Spacey said he has a lot of respect and admiration for Rapp and is beyond horrified to hear his story. Rapp, then 14, was able to get away without any physical harm. "As those closes to me know, in my life, I have had relationships with both men and women".
Spacey had not previously been scheduled to work on set on Monday, according to a statement from the companies.
When reached by CNN, a spokesperson for the SAG-AFTRA, a labor union which represents actors and performers, would not comment on Spacey, an 11-time SAG Award nominee and four-time recipient.
He told RadarOnline.com: "I went up to order a drink and Kevin came up to me and put his arm around me".
While much of the sexual harassment scandal has focused on top Hollywood names such as Weinstein and Spacey, a broader discussion of treatment of women in the industry has emerged.
"I don't remember how many people told me the same story: Spacey would invite them to meet him to 'talk about their careers, '" Cavazos wrote.
