A hilarious new Far Cry 5 trailer showed off a different look at the highly anticipated new chapter to the franchise. Moving from the exotic locales of older games, Far Cry 5 is calling Montana, US home, where you'll be shooting your way through a gun-toting religious cult.

It's always great to see co-op in video games, especially open world ones like Far Cry. Voice chat communication will be included along with the ability to share health packs and ammo.

In addition to the "Friends for Hire" feature, the host player can still recruit "Guns for Hire" and "Fangs for Hire" giving players and advantage during the game.

According to Ubisoft, players will be able to jump into blasting through Hope County with a friend immediately following the tutorial, with all experience and inventory items sans quest critical objects being kept after each session, though only the hosting player will retain their story progress.

Far Cry 5 is slated to launch on February 27, with it arriving for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.
