The Last of Us Part II Gets a New Trailer

A new trailer has been release for The Last of Us: Part II and you might want to have had your dinner before watching it. This is our first look at the upcoming title since its original announcement during PlayStation Experience in 2016, and Naughty Dog held nothing back with this second look. Towards the end of the trailer is a special guest: Joel, her friend and father-figure in the first game. There isn't a release date yet but it's definitely on many people's to play lists.

The new teaser for "The Last of Us Part II" gave fans a sneak peek of some of the new characters.

Although she was physically absent from The Last of Us, Ellie's mom's presence looms large. I am very sure that no one of us saw this coming from them. We're extremely proud of the game we're crafting and can't wait to show you even more - and we promise you won't have to wait as long for the next big reveal!

Questions, questions, questions: Who is the woman being hanged? However, Sony using it as one of the earliest pieces of marketing for the sequel feels misguided, with intense and graphic violence placed at the forefront of its presentation.

Druckmann adds that Naughty Dog won't be revealing more about the game's narrative or new characters for now, instead allowing the five-minute video to do the talking and let its mysteries remain unsolved.
