Sixers shut Markelle Fultz down indefinitely after meeting with shoulder specialists

Fultz will be re-evaluated by Dr. Kleber in three weeks, making his earliest possible return date November 20 against the Utah Jazz. Philadelphia (2-4) plays at the Houston Rockets (5-2) on Monday night.

The number one pick in the 2017 NBA Draft, Fultz will remain out of action with "soreness and scapular muscle imbalance" in his right shoulder, the 76ers announced on Sunday.

Fultz's shoulder has bothered him all season and the Sixers said last week he would only miss three games.
