Motorola announces Moto Smart Speaker with Amazon Alexa for Moto Z

Like all other Moto Mods, this Amazon Alexa-equipped smart speaker works with the Moto Z and Moto Z2 family. With a straightforward name, the Moto Smart Speaker with Amazon Alexa brings the smart assistant to your fingertips. Well, that statement has now turned incarnate, as Motorola has unveiled a Moto Smart Speaker today with Amazon Alexa integration, allowing you to access all your favorite home functions on the go. The diffrence here is that there's no cutout for the camera and there's a blue LED light.

Outside of these Amazon deals and apps, the Prime Exclusive Moto X4 is just like the regular model. For the cost of $150, buyers will get the case with 1,530mAh of battery, as well as an 8W 27mm dual set of speakers. There are two 8-watt speakers on board to render stereo sound output and four far-field microphones in order to pick up voice commands from across the room. This is also the reason why the Moto Mod comes with a dock design. Motorola claims that the built-in battery on the Alexa Moto Mod can last up to 15 hours.

This new Moto Smart Speaker with Amazon Alexa arrives in November for $149.99 at places like Amazon, Best Buy, Verizon, and Motorola's online shop.

The largest downside to the latest Moto Mod is price. The Moto Mod is heading only to the United States and other markets that have official Alexa support, or in other words, availability is pretty much limited. As the Echo devices were finally launched by the online retail giant Amazon earlier this month, we can also expect that this feature would be made available in India as well.
