Wolves striker Bright Enobakhare spared the blushes of the Championship high flyers as they battled to a 1-0 extra time win against Bristol Rovers in the third round of the Carabao Cup at Molineux.
An EFL spokesman said: 'As a result of police advice, in conjunction with the club's safety officer, it was agreed at the conclusion of extra-time that the penalty kicks would be taken at the home end of the stadium due to general safety concerns'.
Wood and Taylor predictably came in for abuse from some fans of their former club Leeds when the sides met in the Carabao Cup on Tuesday. "We have contacted Ladbrokes and are awaiting a full response", the club said in a statement.
Wood came on as a second half substitute and scored from the spot to tie the game up in the 89th minute.More news: Recapping college football polls after Week 3
But Dyche found it hard to justify the vitriol directed towards Wood and Taylor from the away end.
"It's a odd business, football", he said.
"Maybe I got the changes wrong, but I was expecting a lot more from my players".
The match finished 2-2 after extra time, with Leeds going on to win 5-3 on penalties to underline what a good start toit eh season it has been for the Yorkshire outfit who are now top of the Championship.
Those two have been fantastic servants to Leeds, if I'm honest.
