Honor 6 Play with quad-core MediaTek SoC launched

For now, there is no news about the global roll out of the Honor 6 Play and is expected to be announced globally also.

Although the most awaited one is the iPhone meanwhile during the anticipation, the sub brand of Huawei, Honor has yet again launched a new smart phone Honor V9 Play in the market. The Honor 6 Play, on the other hand, is priced at CNY 599 (approximately Rs 6,000). The handset sports a 5-inch HD (720x1280 pixels) display with a pixel density of 294ppi. The device runs Android 7.0 Nougat with EMUI 5.1 on top and weighs 145g. It comes in 3GB or 4GB RAM models. Honor has provisioned the device with a 13-megapixel shooter with a f/2.2 aperture and PDAF support at the rear with a LED flash. With the slim and light casing, Huawei has managed to fit in a 3000mAh battery.

Out of the two smartphones, Honor V9 Play has a slightly better specifications. It has Octa-Core MediaTek MT6750 processor with Mali T860 GPU.

It has the metal uni-body design along with rounded edges, antenna bands, rear fingerprint scanner.

Recently Honor launched its V9 Play smartphone in China.

Honor 6 Play, the dual SIM supporting smartphone is powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT6737T SoC clocked at 1.4GHz united with 2GB of RAM.

The Honor 6 Play comes with 16GB of built-in storage, which is expandable via microSD card (up to 128GB).In terms of connectivity, the handset offers options including 4G LTE connectivity, Bluetooth 4.0, USB 2.0, GPS, and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n options.

If you were surprised by the Honor V9 Play's pricing, the Honor 6 is going to blow you away. It will be available from today onwards in White and gold colour options. The smartphone features a 5.2-inch HD (720x1280 pixels) display. The measurements of this phone are about 143.8x72x8.85mm, and its total weight is about 150 grams.
