Assassin's Creed Origins' new cinematic trailer shows trouble brewing in ancient Egypt


The first trailer from Microsoft's conference at Gamescom has come out - it's a CGI trailer for Assassin's Creed Origins. The newly released Assassin's Creed Origins cinematic trailer is seen above, showcasing some lovely scenery and various historical figures that will surely make appearances in the game.

The trailer has Leonard Cohen's 'You want is darker' being narrated in the background.

The new trailer, which can be watched right below, showcases the game's Ancient Egypt as well as main character Bayek as he gets involved in the conflict at the center of the story. We will keep you updated on the game as soon as more comes in on it, so stay tuned for all the latest news.

Developed by Ubisoft Montreal, Assassin's Creed: Origins will release on Playstation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC on October 27, 2017. In keeping with tradition, we also see few noted historical characters from the era, including Cleopatra as she plans her moves, and Caesar as his army marches into the lands.

In an interview with Gamespot, Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot had stated that Assassin's Creed: Origins would be made compatible for Microsoft Xbox One X, and that it would be the best console version available.
