Solar eclipse 2017: Make your own solar eclipse viewer

The glasses were almost impossible to find by the end of the week.

Eclipse glasses are sold out just about everywhere.

Luckily, you can buy special glasses that are 10,000 times stronger than sunglasses to watch the eclipse.

You can use a pizza box and things you have around the house to make a pinhole projector, as shown in a YouTube video made by Pizza Hut.

Option 2: If you don't want to do a craft project, just look for something that casts a shadow on the ground. You should see an outline of the moon as it crosses over the sun on the piece of paper.

Open the bottom of the box and put the cut piece of paper onto the bottom of the box and tape it so that it sticks. Hold the piece of card stock with the aluminum foil on it above it (with the foil facing up).

To watch a projection of the eclipse, stand with the sun behind you, with the tin foil-side of the box about a few inches above the other side of the box. That means you can't look directly at the eclipse with this thingy - you're creating a pinhole projector that reflects the sun onto a screen. Make sure that the holes are big enough to for you to see out of them.

Even if you didn't get the glasses, you can still enjoy the solar.

Do not forget to never look directly at the sun.
