Ford Performance Reveals New 2018 Heritage GT

Each '67-special Ford GT gets its unique serial number, too. The auto will feature unique interior and exterior color themes, and an exclusive wheel finish.

The limited edition model will come with glossy Race Red paint and white stripes, but we will also see the same No.1 number which was on the racing auto back in 1967. The 20-inch forged aluminum wheels feature a silver satin finish and black lug nuts.

As with the '66 Heritage edition, the '67 Heritage getup for the Ford GT is exclusively aesthetic. You also get red brake calipers and silver mirror caps to complete the exterior look.

Inside, the auto is equipped with red accent stitching, red seat belts, anodized gray paddle shifters, new leather seat trimming, exposed matte carbon fiber door sills, and a matte carbon fiber center console. And Ford Performance is offering for the 2018 model year a special edition with a livery inspired by the red-and-white 1967 GT40 that won LeMans back in 1967 with A. J. Foyt and Dan Gurney at the helm. Seat belt webbing is red and the paddle shifters behind the steering wheel are anodized gray.

Each '67 Heritage Edition will also have a unique serial plate and exposed carbon-fibre door sills and a centre console. "Continuing with a 2018 [model year] Ford GT based on the winning GT40 MkIV race vehicle was simply something we needed to do".

Ford has revealed a new flavour available for its flagship supercar - the GT 67' Heritage Edition.

Note however, that only "limited quantities" of this heritage edition will be built for the year.
