Asus ZenFone AR Lands On Amazon In The US


According to a Verge report, ZenFone AR unlocked will be $599 in the U.S. Sources are still to confirm.

Asus ZenFone AR recently went on pre-order at Verizon, one of the few placed where Android fans can purchase the high-end smartphone. Well, the wait is about to be over as Verizon has started receiving pre-orders for the same, Asus Zenfone AR. The Chinese technology giant has now revealed that they will also be introducing a special unlocked version of its flagship Tango-enabled smartphone exclusively to the USA markets.

Weighing only 170 grams, the ZenFone AR combines an impressive list of features without having to make it appear oversized or awkward. However, for those who would like to show it off or get a general feel of what it is for various reasons, the Asus ZenFone AR might just be the right choice for a phone. This offer is for Asus Zenfone 3 AR's 128GB edition.

Asus Zenfone AR is the second smartphone to be Tango-enabled and Daydream-ready, after the Lenovo Phab 2 Pro.

A vital part of the complete Zenfone AR package is the handset's TriCam system, a trio of rear cameras that include a 23MP sensor, another camera sensor for motion tracking, and yet another for depth sensing. With this phone, Daydream View owners are able to use the phone with the VR headset to enjoy virtual reality experiences. It even offers a wireless motion control remote to navigate through the VR apps and games available on the platform.

Earlier, it was rumored that the unlocked version would come in two variants - one with 6GB of RAM and 64GB storage, and another one with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.
