The Bayern coach said: "I cannot wish Antonio to win the Champions League, but of course Chelsea will be competitive".

"If a club are interested in a Bayern player, they must be ready to deal with significant economic figures.

We use it to prepare well for the season, to improve the things that we need to improve", he said.

However, Sanches has failed to hold down a spot in Bayern's first team this season, leading to interest from AC Milan and CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge declaring that the player was available for £43m.

The Chilean midfielder is reportedly a target for Manchester United once again.

Last year Vidal admitted he has been close to joining United.

"I think he gives us something extra between the lines (attack and midfield), especially in terms of the final pass to the strikers", Ancelotti added of the Colombian, who joined Bayern on a two-year loan deal from Real Madrid. [It is] also a possibility he stays with us and helps us'. "It was last summer, and at one point, we thought that is what would happen. We'll say that it wouldn't be bad if a €48m offer came in for him".

"I wanted to come to a team this strong and to a project that is so ambitious".

Ancelotti has said that "there is also a chance" of Sanches staying with Bayern this summer, but the Italian has hinted that the teenager will depart.

United went after the young Portugal worldwide last summer but despite appearing all but certain to sign the Benfica prodigy, it was Bayern who swooped with a late bid that secured the starlet's services. When we have time to take a decision together it can be a possibility.
