Lucifer Season 3 adds Clark Kent, new promo released!


FOX made a special announcement for fans of "Lucifer" at the annual event, confirming that a former "Smallville" actor will be joining the cast of "Lucifer" in season 3. So when Pierce starts developing a connection with Decker (Lauren German), the devil comes out in Lucifer.

According to a release, Welling will play Marcus Pierce, "an accomplished police lieutenant who is everything Lucifer (Tom Ellis) is not - strategic, reserved and well-respected".

"Smallville" actor Tom Welling will return to TV this year with a featured role on FOX's "Lucifer". To see where it all leads, be sure to tune in when Season 3 kicks off at 8 PM on Monday, October 2nd.

Beyond that, we also know that season three of Lucifer will involve good ol' Morning Star trying to figure out who kidnapped him and why his angel wings have inexplicably returned. He recently starred in "The Choice", and has also been in "Draft Day", "Cheaper by the Dozen", and "Cheaper by the Dozen 2". Television, in association with Jerry Bruckheimer Television. Joining Ellis will be Lauren German, Rachael Harris, Kevin Alejandro, Aimee Garcia and executive producers Joe Henderson and Ildy Modrovich as well as Tricia Helfer - whose inclusion is sure to get fans talking given the way in which her character's story came to a close in Season 2.
