Neymar considering Barcelona exit: Man Utd could move for Brazil star

Today, Barcelona forward Neymar is linked with a move to Man Utd.... "He played a magnificent season and he is still one of the best in the world". The Brazilian has been on fire ever since he made the switch to Barcelona from Santos over 4 years ago.

The Parisians have been utterly adamant that their Italian midfield maestro - new Barca boss Ernesto Valverde's No.1 target - will not be allowed to leave the club, but that stance might change if Neymar moves in the opposite direction.

According to Sport, despite everything seemingly being well at the club, there are advisors in his team who continue to push him to leave Barcelona in order to step out of Messi's shadow. The 25-year-old has been part of one of the most formidable front trio in world football alongside Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez.

Several clubs are said to be monitoring the situation with Paris-Saint-Germain, Real Madrid and Manchester United mentioned.

In case you didn't know...

Earlier on Monday, Barca technical director Robert Fernandez insisted the LaLiga giants had received no offers for its players this close-season and maintained no one was in the market to meet the release clause inserted into Neymar's contract when he signed fresh terms running until June 2021 last October.

As reported by Goal's Joe Wright, Fernandez gave a press conference later in the day, and he was inevitably asked about the reports. Per Samuel Marsden of ESPN FC, he signed a new contract last season, with a new buyout clause that is over €200 million and set to rise as high as €250 million. An award which has been dominated by Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo for the past 9 years.

Manchester United have always been credited with interest in securing Neymar's signature.
