Pipe falls on van in Orlando

A motorist was almost killed when a large metal pipe crushed his van on a Florida highway.

Above him on the overpass, Antonio Santiago Wharton, 33, of Kissimmee, was driving a Mack truck loaded down with scrap metal. The Florida Highway Patrol said Escobar would have been killed if the metal had landed a foot in either direction.

A man in Florida miraculously survived a weird accident during which his van was completely crushed by scrap metal. Escobar, a father of three, was exiting the interstate at the time.

Despite the giant hunk of metal hitting the driver's side of the van Final Destination style, the driver managed to get away somehow with only minor injuries.
