A mild start to the week with continued rain chances


A downpour may occur and highs will reach the mid 80s. Expect clear skies tonight with lows around 50. Lows in the mid 70s.

After a sunny and seasonably warm afternoon, skies will remain partly cloudy overnight with lows in the mid 60s.

Tuesday, July 18 - Mostly sunny, with a high near 93.

The NWS has issued a hazardous weather outlook for Monday, with thunderstorms and heavy rain expected throughout the area into the evening. Thursday and Friday will be sunny, hot, and humid with highs in the low to mid 90s. A few scattered storms. Possibility for evening showers/storms.

Wednesday: Sunny, with highs in the low 90's. Lows will be in the mid-70s with a 20 percent chance of rain.

Thursday. Sunny and hot, with a high near 102. The good news is that as of now, we are looking to have a break from the rain by the next Monday with partly cloudy skies! Tiny rain chance. Lows in low to mid 70s.

Another similar day for Wednesday, but will be warmer with highs in the lower 90s, with heat index values near 100.

Friday, July 21 - Mostly sunny, with a high near 94. There will be a 60 percent chance of rain. Lows in low to mid 70s.

Sunday: Partly sunny, then gradually becoming sunny, with a high near 79. Tiny afternoon/evening rain chance.
