The Walking Dead stuntman John Bernecker dies; girlfriend upset with production

Bernecker fell more than 20 feet onto a concrete floor, suffering a head injury that required him to be transported to a nearby hospital by helicopter. Unsurprisingly, production for season eight of The Walking Dead was halted amid the fatal accident.

AMC also honored the late stuntman, saying in a statement, "We are deeply saddened by this loss, and our hearts and prayers are with John's family, friends and colleagues during this extremely hard time".
