Baahubali 2 collections cross Rs 1500 crore, highest in Indian film history!

If one were to consider the Friday-Sunday opening weekend period, Baahublali 2 has left Sultan far behind as estimates peg the opening weekend collection for the Hindi dubbed version only at Rs 128 crore (net after tax).

SS Rajamouli's magnum opus Baahubali 2: The Conclusion (also spelt as Bahubali 2) has become the first Indian film to breach the Rs 1,500 crore mark in global box office collections. This makes Baahubali 2 the sole member of this club.

Will Sachin: A Billion Dreams be able to beat Baahubali 2? The movie starring Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka, Tamannah Bhatia, Ramya Krishna and Nassar, has collected a whooping Rs 1,227 Cr gross in India and another Rs 275 Cr gross in overseas, taking the total to Rs 1,502 Cr.

The Hindi version of Baahubali 2 respectively made Rs 247 crores, Rs 143.25 crores and Rs 69.75 crores in the first three weeks at the theatres, reported Mr Adarsh.

At the number four position is Baahubali: The Beginning, with its Rs 650 crore earnings.

Taran even shared a poster of "Baahubali 2" featuring Anushka Shetty as Devasena and Ramaya Krishnan as Shivgami flaunting the phenomenal collection of Rs 1500 cr worldwide, becoming the first movie to made such a large collection.

Baahubali 2 has touched this stellar figure within 21 days of its theatrical release.
