Champions League final available to all licensees

Arsenal's 2-0 win over relegated Sunderland on Tuesday moved them within a point of fourth-placed Liverpool and gave the London side an outside chance of qualifying for the Champions League if results go their way on the final day of the season.

BT Sport's Twitter account confirmed the news yesterday, saying they will be live streaming the Europa League and Champions League finals on YouTube.

The Europa League finals will feature Manchester United and Ajax, two teams looking to close the season with a major trophy. Big audiences will return to the broadcaster's channel soon; the Europa League final is on May 24th, and the ultimate Champions League tilt - which this year will pit Spain's Real Madrid against Italy's Juventus - will follow on June 3rd.

"A European trophy is a European trophy".

For the first time, the Champions League final will be available on the BT platform in 4K/Ultra HD on YouTube as well as in UHD with Dolby Atmos sound on its core BT TV IPTV offer.

Uefa have also confirmed that their switch to on-field trophy presentations will also apply to the Women's Champions League final and worldwide tournaments, such as the European Championships. But I have my medal, and more importantly than that, I have my memories.

"Our users love football, so we're seriously excited to bring BT Sport's ground-breaking coverage of these two massive games LIVE on YouTube, for a second year running", commented YouTube's Senior Director in EMEA, Stephen Nuttall.

"We have a hard game, let's not forget this first", said the 34-year-old.

'I never care about the other results, so I am not going to start now'.

"We got ourselves together and for 70 minutes I thought we were a top team". Just load the video on a compatible smartphone, press the headset icon, insert it into a mobile VR headset and you'll be good to go.

"I did alright and made some good saves so I'm pleased with my performance".

So, how can I watch them for free then?
