In one corner you had the Big Show, who stands at 2.13 metres and tips the scales at 174 kilograms, and in the other you had Braun Strowman, at 2.03m and 175kg.

Just in case you were wondering, the show-ending stunt wasn't the first time a WWE ring has dramatically collapsed.

A relatively normal matchup between two WWE superstars on "Monday Night Raw" ended with a see-it-to-believe-it finish that World Wrestling Entertainment is known for. Monday's collapse may have been the most theatrical and spectacular to date, as both the steps leading to the ring and Cone being sent flying were both new aspects to the stunt that hadn't been done before. Strowman is 6-8 and 389.

In interviews for years after he and Lesnar broke the ring, The Big Show insisted that the result was real and the ring was not gimmicked to break.

Show is 7-foot and 385.

Brock Lesnar superplexed Big Show in 2004 and Mark Henry in 2011 simply threw him to the stage, to break the ring. "That thing collapsed and everybody they bought it so long".

Strowman will face Roman Reigns at WWE Payback on April 30.

"Good to see Finn Balor back at it after suffering what was thought to be a concussion last week on RAW".

Big Show has been involved in three WWE ring collapses.
