The Walking Dead season 8: Steven Ogg, Pollyanna McIntosh, Katelyn Nacon promoted

McIntosh plays one of the newest characters on the show, Jadis, leader of the junk yard scavengers. She's repped by Insurge-Ent, Lee Morgan Management and lawyer Stephen Clark.

These three characters include Negan's good pal Simon (Steven Ogg) who led the supplies trade with The Kingdom. He also recurs on HBO's Westworld and is repped by Abrams Artists Agency and MGMT Entertainment. Nacon, meanwhile, plays Carl's love-interest, Enid - though her larger part might suggest that she'll be taking a more active role in Maggie's ascension to Hilltop leader, as that's where she spent most of her time last season.

The season 7 finale of AMC's The Walking Dead did give us a showdown (or sorts) between Rick and his allies and Negan's band of Saviors, but it really didn't bring us the "All-Out War" promised by both an early synopsis and Robert Kirkman's source material.

TVLine reported Monday that Ogg, Nacon and McIntosh have officially been upgraded to series regulars.

These 3 promotions come after a heavy season of death as we saw 3 main characters killed off and a plethora of supporting roles as well. And with Maggie's baby on the way and fearless Sasha in the ground, Enid looks like a good bet for big sister/junior-leader-in-training material, rather than just Carl's crush, Judith's sometime nanny and Hilltop's healthy-meal maker.

"It's going to become a bit more kinetic and fast-moving, because that's where the story is going", Scott Gimple said of "The Walking Dead" Season 8.
