Gorillaz announce North American tour including Red Rocks and festival appearances


The British cartoon band Gorillaz has announced a stop at the Infinite Energy Center as part of its North American tour in support of a new album, Humanz.

July 8 - Chicago IL - Huntington Bank Pavilion at Northerly Island +. In addition to previously announced appearances at Quebec City Summer Festival and San Francisco's Outside Lands Music & Arts Festival, the band will take the stage at New York's Meadows Music Festival, Las Vegas' Life is Beautiful Festival, and Miami's III Points Festival.

Billboard reports that several of the album's featured guests will join them on tour.

Tickets for the III Points Festival, returning October 13-15 to Mana Wynwood, will go on sale at midnight Friday, April 21, via IIIPoints.com, and will cost $111 plus taxes for a three-day general admission pass and $245 for VIP.

The band consists of Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewlett. Those who buy tickets after the album's release date, will have instructions emailed to them 7-10 days after purchase. Tickets purchased online for select dates listed below will receive a choice of either a standard physical or standard digital copy of Humanz.

July 12 - Boston MA - Blue Hills Bank Pavilion +.

Everyone's favorite animated band is coming to Red Rocks.

In a big get for Kansas City, the Humanz tour includes a stop at the Sprint Center on Friday, September 22.
