Eden Hazard attracting transfer interest from Real Madrid

Chelsea now hold a seven-point lead at the top of the Premier League table and are next in action against Manchester United on Sunday.

It's actually quite logical really, as Eden Hazard slumped last season, declining substantially from the form he showed the year before as PFA Player of the Year.

"There are always personal ambitions to play for other clubs, dreams", continued Hazard.

The Belgium worldwide has been in stunning form for Chelsea, scoring 14 goals in 30 Premier League games.

Hazard won the award back in 2015, but endured a bad run of form last season as Chelsea slumped to a 10th-placed finish. Then, I'll go on holiday. I have a contract until 2020.

Trying to put these words together with the mannerisms from the video and knowing all that we know of Hazard, my guess is he's just indulging the interviewer and doing that whole "you never know in football" thing that nearly all players do nowadays. "Then perhaps it'll be Bayern [Munich]", he told Telefoot.

The 23-year-old striker was one of the most sought-after forwards in Europe before completing a £33 million move to Stamford Bridge in 2016.

Interest from Real Madrid usually means you're playing well, right? I get along very well with him, I wish him to rediscover the pleasure of playing, scoring goals as he has been able to do for several years, be it at Standard [Liege] or Marseille.

"I haven't seen the rumours, but it's clear he would be an excellent signing".

"Of course I would like to have this title of best player too, but if I have to choose I would give it to him".
