West Ham one win from safety, says Noble

Fabio Borini struck late on as Sunderland drew 2-2 with West Ham to deny the Hammers what would have been an important win on the road to Premier League survival.

Bilic was left fuming after seeing his side twice pegged back in front of a crowd of 40,168 at the Stadium of Light.

West Ham winger Michail Antonio has been ruled out for the rest of the English Premier League season with a significant injury.

However, they are undefeated in seven of the last nine home fixtures (W3, D4). Ayew brings the ball down and prods it past Pickford. Ayew should have done better, firing over from close range after Carroll and Snodgrass had combined to teed him up, while Victor Anichebe's effort was deflected behind and Khazri tested Randolph with a low drive as the sides exchanged opportunities shortly before the break.

Sunderland Manager, David Moyes, believes his side have a "good chance" of winning their home clash with West Ham at the Stadium of Light tomorrow.

"They were throwing long balls in, putting the bodies in, from one of those situations they score the goal".

Jermain Defoe's recent performances - acceptable?

Sunderland's first goal in over 700 minutes of Premier League football came in very unusual circumstances. West Ham keeper Darren Randolph may want to avoid Match of the Day after seeing Khazri's corner sail over his head and inside the far post. There were certainly question marks about whether the West Ham keeper had been impeded, but the referee gave the goal.

Sunderland manager David Moyes lately declared the team's present scenario is "damaging" him with the Black Cats having spent the whole season in the relegation zone. It was welcome respite for the Hammers who had found themselves under the cosh since the equaliser.

Jones was taken off on a stretcher after he landed heavily following a tussle with Arthur Masuaku, with Moyes throwing on an extra attacker in the form of Borini after a long delay, and that boldness paid off as the Italian levelled in the 90th minute.

Defoe was denied by a superb tackle by Jose Fonte as the Black Cats looked to bounce back again, while Didier Ndong blazed miled over after being set up nicely by Khazri. "Now even more than at Juventus or at Sassuolo or in other teams because after the negative period at West Ham, I suffered a lot, and I'll never forget that". Some questionable defending on the line as well. Sam Byram was then later sent off for a second bookable offence.
